So the bottle is hosting 2 benefits. One for Jay Robins this saturday and one for Tom Curtis . If you cant make it out on tues you can easily drop a donation and/or by some raffle tickets at the bottle any night until then. It really warms my heart to see a place like the bottle and the music community in chicago in general coming and helping those in trouble anyway they can.

No not Adored (i wish), but actually being hit by a car door while riding on my bike. I dont get angry often, so it was weird to just rip into this lady for about 10 mintes. I dropped the F-bomb quite a bit, I felt it was necessary and justifiable. Had I been going faster, or had she opened it infront of me instead of into me, I could have gone flying into traffic and not only really hurt myself but also been hit by other traffic. She said “I didnt look” WTF!? I was right infront of her door as she opened it! She promised not to leave her house all weekend, becuase she was all shook up. That was not what I intended by bitching her out, I wanted her to be more careful in the future and I wanted to give myself time to check over everything on me and my bike to see if I was ok or needed to get her info. Now I really should have gotten her info and maybe even filled a police report. Even though I think only sprained my wriste and elbows, I am not a doctor nor do I own an x-ray machine, but the fact that I could make a fist, move my arms and legs in full degree and know my name and address I guess I am ok.
With the rest of this weekend being nice and low key I spent time fixing up the wordpress installs. For one thing .htaccess wasnt working right before but is now, so I can affectivly block spam bots from kirsties blog. I got unlazy enough to install favicons for each page (mine, hers, and the home page).
I’ve spent most of today loading a bunch of cd’s on my itunes. Things like Public Enemy, Poole, Phil Ochs, Light FM, Go-Betweens and Nick Cave. I still have almost 30gigs free on my ipod! WOW.
