what a weekend
it was a a weekend spending time with a couple of friends that we dont see nearly enough. time and schedules and general patterns of life that have not synced up. the internet being what it is we still were pretty up to date on each others life in the vague sense…the details of which were discussed over beers or food or after a film. greatness!
also saw some awesome art. calder at the MCA then random art and music at the Milwaukee Ave arts fest . I already had Danny Think Tank show on my radar as i am a fan/friend of Cole Pierce and looked forward to seeing this in person. I did not realize that this would be playing here too. watching the whole thing was very trance like. its one of the few(only!) times that i listened to my music with a continual video playing. the video Cole made works amazingly well. i really had no hand in making it. i didnt even suggest the idea of using my music. the serendipity of the world in just neat. i just post stuff hoping that atleast ppl might listen. the fact that someone decided to not only listen but use it to create even better art is really nice.
